The College of Engineering invites students to apply for Break into Engineering at URI, a three-day, hands-on program designed for highly motivated high school sophomores and juniors interested in exploring engineering.

Program Details
Dates: April 22-24, 2026 (attendance required all three days) 
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. ET
Format: Day program only (not overnight)
Cost: Free! Lunch is included each day

To apply, students will need the endorsement of a parent/guardian as well as a math or science teacher. The application deadline is March 2, 2026.
