The Wayland Fine Arts Department encompasses arts education offerings in the Wayland Public Schools grades K-12 in the fine and performing arts. Courses include K-12 visual art and general music, grade 3-12 strings, grade 4-12 band, grade 4/5-12 chorus, grade 6-12 drama. All staff members are certified and experienced educators in their areas of instruction. We believe that all children are entitled to a strong foundation in the musical, dramatic and visual arts.

Wayland High School Fine and Performing Arts
The Wayland High School Fine Arts Department provides students the opportunity to further their study of the visual and performing arts. For those who have developed a strong proficiency, there are many exciting courses from which to choose. For students who have not yet delved deeply into arts content, there are survey and introductory courses available. Every student will need a minimum of 4 credits of fine arts coursework in fulfillment of the graduation requirement. There is something for everyone within the curricular day, as well as many extracurricular opportunities.
