University of Virginia Scholarships
The University of Virginia offers several scholarship opportunities for incoming students. Review each scholarship below.

Oliver Linwood Perry Jr. Scholarship – The Oliver Linwood Perry Jr. Scholarship is for a student attending UVA who has demonstrated a history of service with Native American and Indigenous communities. Blue Ridge Scholarship – Scholarship ranges from $1,000 to $7,000 per year and may replace the loan or work study component of a financial aid package. All students with significant financial need are automatically considered for this award.
Ridley Scholarship Program – Full tuition & fees scholarship that is renewable for four years. The Ridley Scholarship Program seeks to attract Black and African-American identified students of the highest academic caliber and build a community of learning, leadership, and legacy for Black students at UVA. ROTC Scholarship – The University of Virginia participates in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) programs for training commissioned officers of the United States Armed Forces. Alumni Scholarships -- The alumni association sponsors several scholarships for both incoming and current undergraduate students. The University of Virginia Alumni Association administers more than 250 different scholarships ranging from modest stipends to full tuition, room and board. Many of these scholarships are available through an application process independent of the University’s financial aid process while others are based on other criteria such as regional areas.
